Meet Camille. This beautiful, sparkly tan lab mix is a sweet yet independent dog. She is about 4 years old, weighs approximately 40 pounds which makes her relatively compact. She had a rough start in life but we won’t get all sappy because she’s past it.  She’s even had some professional training to learn commands and work on her trust in people. Camille would love nothing more than to be a big dog’s girlfriend.   Her current bf is 150 lb bloodhound so she’s got good taste- She loves to be by a strong, protective male’s side and doesn’t mind playing “house wife.”  She actually enjoys it.  Camille  started off living on her own so she’s still somewhat distant from people.  She’ll take a little time to warm up to you however, will remain a bit reserved at first.. she needs a home that doesn’t expect her to be a super cuddler or lap dog (even though she’s a little large for that.)  For the right person/family, she would make a perfect match.  She rarely barks, gets along with dogs, likes to play with her toys, and relax.  She is fully crate trained and enjoys spending time in it….maybe she’s catching up on her “Good Housekeeping” reading??  She is also potty trained which is a perk. Camille doesn’t have a mean bone in her body and once she gets adjusted (treats help!) to your home, family, and meets her mail-ordered doggie groom, she will be content and will gladly sleep on the edge of your bed [if you allow it.]  She would love to live outside the city and enjoy some peace and quiet. Who knows?  Maybe with the right gentleman wrapped around her paw, she will gain additional confidence and continue to open up.
