Meet our newest Rocket Dog puppy: Cocoa!
At less than 8 weeks-old, poor Cocoa was bought from a “backyard breeder” in a less-than savory part of town and was left alone most of the day for weeks on end. A neighbor could hear this sweet puppy crying all day and, thankfully, reached out to her boss and these two good samaritans persuaded Cocoa’s “owner” to give her to them “for what I paid” (abusive and greedy!)
Rocket Dog Rescue was contacted and now this playful, loving Pittie puppy girl is looking for her forever home. Cocoa is an active, loving 13 week-old pup who weighs 18 lbs. She is learning sit and stay, being potty-trained and prefers her doggie bed than her crate for sleep-time. Beware: Cocoa loves giving kisses! She would do well in an active home, who is willing to put in the time to train her well.
Please be mindful that puppies require LOTS of time, attention, training, and exercise (both mental and physical) to be the best dog they can be. Puppies cannot be left alone for long periods of time. Breed experience a plus.
