This little gal Emmy is a Rocket Dog alumnus….she was adopted to a family as a young puppy three years ago and they decided they “no longer had time” for her…Poor Emmy had been neglected for a while, it seems, as she came back sans doggie manners! Apparently the parents let their human rugrats play very roughly with Emmy and she learned some baaaad habits. Emmy can be a bit mouthy during play and will often catch your clothes when nipping…Emmy is currently enrolled in doggy-Emily Post/Ms Manners lessons at her foster mom’s…
Emmy is a great size for city life, around 18 lbs. We think she is a doxie-corgi mix. SHe likes other dogs, is good on leash, house trained. Again she needs some remedial obedience training but this is a good opportunity for Emmy and her new people to bond.
If you would like to meet Emmy, please complete an adoption application (found online at www.rocketdogrescue.org ) and a volunteer will contact you.
