Medium (25 – 60 lbs) Learn MoreMemphis Belle finally has her second chance at a real life. This little English Bulldog was a puppy mill girl, who was thrown in the mountains of Taiwan after her breeders were done using her. She arrived at Rocket Dog extremely malnourished, devoid of a life of love, human affection, or structure.
She is estimated to be approximately 6-8 years of age and has a very sweet/goofy temperament. Belle is great with other dogs, enjoys being outside, and would love to have a human companion who is home with her during the day to provide the necessary affection and guidance that she needs. She has blossomed tremendously during her time in foster care; Belle has come out of her shell and is learning how to finally enjoy her new life of sleeping, eating, playing, and being a normal lazy bulldog.
Belle would do best in a home with someone who is going to be very patient and understanding of her background, as well as experienced with the bulldog breed. She loves toys, so perhaps a home without young children since she can have some attitude about her playtime (though she is great with kids). Belle is not cat tested, but does well with her foster mom’s 80 lb Olde English Bulldogge at home. Because she was in a crate her whole life, she would love to have a backyard in her new house to roam around and sunbathe in during the day. She is lovely little lady who has been through a lot in life and deserves to finally have a loving forever home.
