Look at beautiful Camille! We think she is a yellow lab mix, of medium size, who, like many of our dogs, has a sad story. Camille was found as a stray, feral, pregnant and horribly emaciated. Camille has come a long way since being saved by rocket dog rescue. Prior to her professional obedience training she had never even been on a leash. Now she can walk nicely on leash and has learned her basic obedience commands with ease. Camille is good with other animals but is reserved around people.
Due to her feral background, Camille can never be off-leash (at least not for a long time). She needs a home where she will not be left alone in a yard (at least not without a chain link dog run), a crate inside and someone who is willing to keep her on leash in the house. She has never been able to trust humans so her instincts tell her to "head for the hills" at all costs. With enough patience, proper environment, continued training and love she should come around. Camille is not for the first time dog owner and would be better in a home that was peaceful and quite. Older children could be okay.
