This dog is in Texas at dog training school with his foster mom and will not be available until February. However, we are taking applications now. Sapphire Bullet is the newest and let's face it, most handsome Rocket Dog! Dumped in front of the San Francisco Animal Shelter, Sapphire Bullet knew he didn't belong and so did we. Our most faithful volunteer, Lucia, saw him and his gorgeous big blue head and knew she had to foster him. He's about 1 year-old, 75 pound blue nose pit bull bundle of LOVE. He is house trained and loves to ride in the car. He tested well with other dogs at the shelter butneeds tobe the only dog in your home because he will soak up all your attention and love. We need someone experienced with bully breeds/strong dogs totake on this boy because he wants to be the boss and will need a strongalpha to put him in his place. Lucia is working with him on basic trainingand he already knows sit! He is eager to please and loves treats sotraining this boy will be fun!Bullet had a torn ACL and got surgery about three months ago. He is completely healed from that but it is a possibility that the other back leg might tear as he gets older and might need surgery as well.
