What was this sweet guy doing in a shelter?  Obviously someone’s beloved pet, maybe he was a victim of a foreclosure….no wonder he was scared at the lonely and cold and so crowded dog pound.  But Rocket Dog Rescue was able to save him and some of his cohorts and offer them a second chance at a new life.

Swatches is about 12 lbs., with a beautiful golden silky coat and fluffy tail.  He is between 2-3 years old.  Maybe he is part Pomeranian or spaniel.  We do not really know.  He seems to LOVE people, but it does take him some time to warm up to other dogs.  Of course, there may be dogs that he may never get along with…he may always be “selective” in his canine friendships.

Swatches would love to hang out while you putter in the garden, or sit by your feet as you read the paper, or accompany you on errands around town.  I think he would also like to go for walks on the beach or on trails, as long as he is with his favorite people…..
