Hi! I’m Buddy! And I want nothing more than to be your best buddy! At around 8 years old, I’m a senior mixed breed fellow but still have lots of life, energy and love to give. I’m happiest around people and love attention. I like most other dogs and have made friends with several lady dogs & puppies at the sanctuary. I haven’t been cat tested yet but they don’t seem all that interesting when I see them on walks. Speaking of walks, I love a good long walk around the neighborhood or a park. An easy hike or a beach day sounds fun too! I like to get my daily exercise in but I don’t require several hours a day.
At close to 80 lbs, I’m a large boy so children over 5 years would be better suited to be around me. My friends at the sanctuary say I am very well behaved and know all the basic commands, as well as having great leash manners. That’s why I’m a volunteer staff favorite! I’ve also been known to love having my photo taken and as you can see from my profile pics, I’m kind of a big deal. At least that’s what they all tell me!
