Mulder

Mulder is a shy, sweet, sensitive soul. Belly rubs and snuggles are gladly accepted by this four-year-old Yorkie terrier mix (12 pounds) as he gets to know you. He’s very affectionate when he warms up, and loves attention. He’s a playful guy and has been wrestling with stuffed animals in his foster home and throwing bits of kibble around to play with! He enjoys a good game of chase.

In terms of the ideal home, we think he’d do well in a home with another dog as he wants to play with other dogs he meets.  Given his initial shyness, we’d recommend a home with older or dog savvy children. Mulder also seems to prefer the company of calmer and quieter people. Mulder does well on leash and enjoys his daily walks. Mulder is super independant and does quite well on his own. When his fosters are not home, he will spend most of his time in the bedroom and has never been destructive. He’s incredibly well behaved.
