Meet Gabby, a 3-month-old mixed breed (herding type?) perfect pup who will be an incredible addition to an active home. She’s playful, smart, cuddly, and curious – truly the whole package!
Given her young age, she’s still working on house training (she’s been doing great at her foster home and uses the bathroom outside consistently) and other basic puppy skills. So far she loves toys, cuddling, and watching TV – her foster claims she’s super smart and is learning very quickly.
Gabby would do great in a home that is capable of providing 1-2 hours of daily exercise along with lots of mental stimulation. High energy and athletic – she could make a great hiking dog in the future! It is important that someone is in the home every 2-3 hours during this critical bonding, socialization, and training period. We estimate Gabby to be 65+ pounds, but no guarantees.
She’s been great at greeting other dogs on leash politely, and is currently in a foster home with two cats. Although she will try to play with them / chase them off leash, she’s getting better at ignoring them or redirecting her attention on leash.
