***SIMBA IS AVAILABLE***
Archie has been adopted.
These two had a rough start (parvovirus survivors) but are ready to find their active and loving (separate) homes.
Our best-guess is that Archie and Simba are Cattle Dog mixes who will weigh about 30 pounds (no guarantees) at maturity. Cattle dogs need lots of mental and physical exercise on a daily basis. Expect to be taking lots of long hikes and walks to make these pups happy.
Archie has a gorgeous shiny black coat with silver-gray socks and a big blaze the same color. He’s the more inquisitive of the two and also the smaller. Simba is a brown-coated little boy with a black undercoat and details, white blaze, white points, and a tiny white streak on his nose. He’s the dominant of the pair and makes it difficult for Archie to sleep. Both are eager to please, to learn, and to play. They are also about half of the way to pad trained but at only 3 months old are easily distracted and will need lots more practice.
Please be home every 2 hours during this critical developmental period. Puppies are a lifelong responsibility and though they are adorable with their puppy “antics”, they need a full-time commitment to their training and socialization. Be sure all members (including resident pets)are onboard before bringing a puppy into the fold.
Please don’t ask if they can be adopted together. They need and deserve separate forever homes where they can each receive all the attention. (Look up Littermate Syndrome for more info.)
