Boomer is a 2-3 year old Doberman Pinscher who needs a lot of love (and at 65 pounds could also stand to pack on a few more pounds). He is known to follow his human friends around for attention, but easily settles down well on his own too, (though he much prefers to have his giant head resting in your lap.) Like many dobermans, he will be a steadfast companion. He’s been great with human and canine friends while in our care.
Boomer will benefit from a patient home and some training as he can be nervous when he first meets new people, but with a few treats and a slow approach, he warms right up. Boomer is an active boy and has been know to jump very high. We recommend a yard with a fence at least 7’ and he should be supervised when outdoors.
Boomer’s ideal forever family will be able to provide him lots of exercise, training, and a bit of patience as he works on becoming a great companion. Boomer has not been cat tested.
To adopt this handsome boy, please fill out an application and a volunteer will be in touch.
