Bowie is a 6-month-old Doberman Pincher mix who is a sweet and endearing pup with a heart full of love. He warms up quickly and forms deep bonds with those who show him patience and kindness. Bowie is currently in a foster home and has been learning how to “sit” and is newly potty-trained. He loves to snuggle you while sleeping and does very well with his foster dog sibling. Bowie is very sociable and has gotten along with all the dogs in the neighborhood!
Playful and full of energy, Bowie embodies the spirit of a typical puppy. His enthusiasm for life is contagious, and he’s always ready for a good romp or play session. With his youthful exuberance, he may exhibit some mouthiness, as all puppies do. He is a smart pooch who will greatly benefit from leash training. With consistent guidance and positive reinforcement, he will quickly learn appropriate manners and grow into a well-behaved adult dog. He will need daily exercise in the form of long walks and hikes. At 25 pounds currently, we estimate his mature weight to be about 55-60 pounds (no guarantees, of course.)
Overall, Bowie is a special dog with a heart full of potential. He needs a loving and patient home that can provide him with the guidance and structure he requires to flourish. If you’re looking for a loyal and playful addition to your family, Bowie might be the perfect match for you. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to welcome this charming pup into your home and hearts! Bowie and Prince will not be adopted together as they each need your focused attention and guidance to be the best dogs they can be.
