With a beautiful mellow hound dog bay full of old man base and soul, Bruno waltzed in.
Skinny, greasy fur, his outsides all a mess. But his heart? It’s solid gold, and man, does he shine.
We don’t know where Bruno has spent the past 8 years of his life but we can tell he has a million stories.
Bruno has the vibe of someone that’s been devoted, loved, and loyal. But his rough condition tells a different story.
What we know for certain;
He was found in the foothills, and had wandered miles based on other posts. Someone saw him with a small pomeranian whom they couldn’t catch and no one saw again. After an extensive search for an owner he was brought to us at Rocket Dog Rescue. He recognizes love and gravitates to it immediately. He is gentle, he is nosy (like all good hounds are) and has a quiet but ridiculous sense of humor; he’s got a glowing soul and lights up when he sees you.
He likes other dogs, he loves tiny donut beds and will squeeze himself into a cat-sized bed if that’s what’s available.
Physically, he’s had a couple of lumps removed that were benign (yay!), fully vaccinated and neutered. He is a mellow fellow for sure.
With some consistent outings/light exercise, he will build up muscle. Right now he is a lazybones snuggle pup, focusing on healing his body and his heart.
