Don’t let Butterfly’s initial shy demeanor fool you because she’ll quickly warm up to both humans and dogs. We think she’s a 1-2 year old Norwich Terrier mix (9 pounds) who’s very playful and outgoing. She doesn’t seem to be out of her puppy stage just yet and has been working on potty training, her basic commands, and socialization. She’ll need someone to continue guiding her through it all. Luckily, Butterfly’s a super-fast learner who’s treat-motivated and loves her toys, especially balls.
Butterfly’s foster mom says she is friendly with other dogs and likes to play with their resident dog, but hasn’t met other cats yet. She’s also great with kids but still needs to learn how to play under supervision. Butterfly would do best in a relatively active home, ideally someone who can walk her twice a day and is committed to continued training, socialization and fulfilling her curiosity. She’ll give lots of kisses for it!
