Candy

Just look at those soulful eyes! Candy is a 3-year-old, 60 pound, (and our best guess is) pittie/lab mix. This athletic girl is attentive and gentle on lead and she loves playing fetch! Smart and emotionally intelligent, she will be a really fun and easy dog to train. Her overall demeanor is mellow and maybe even a little bit shy at first, but she warms up almost immediately. We suspect that this wigglebutt is going to be a world class snuggler once she settles into her new home. 

Candy would do well with older children provided her family has the time to navigate. She has been non reactive with other dogs at the sanctuary and on walks in the neighborhood, but it’s too early to tell if she is going to be a dog park kinda gal. Large, bouncy, and energetic dogs probably aren’t her jam, but she would do fine with another medium sized dog in the home.

Candy is not only gorgeous, this old soul is going to make a fantastic companion! (SS)
