Chelsea is truly a gentle giant. She is a mature 7-8 year old German Shepherd, and while it’s not polite to discuss a lady’s weight…she’s about 90 pounds. Her idea of a perfect day is a hefty amount of relaxed hang out time with her favorite humans, some walking to take in the neighborhood smells, avoiding Roombas at all costs, and a bit of playtime…or just extra cuddles if that’s more your style.
In her foster home, Chelsea has been getting along with other dogs and even the resident cat. She warms up to new people and bonds quickly, especially with encouragement from a trusted human. Chelsea seems housebroken, goes to lay on her bed when told to do so, and while she won’t be running marathons, she gets around just fine. Overall, she’s a wonderful, docile dog with a big heart who will make an excellent companion to anyone who likes taking things easy. And yes – her ears are just like that!
