ChiChi is just looking for a safe loving home and a warm lap to snuggle in. Found lost and lonely on the streeets of Oakland, this sweet 9 pound Chihuahua mix has lost most of her vision due to cataracts but it doesn’t keep her from loving people! She can detect light and darkness, but not much more. At approximately 5 years old, she’s in great health otherwise and would love to spend her days with a loving family.
She loves to curl up in a warm lap or sunbathe the day away! She’s currently being fostered with another small dog and does seem to enjoy that companionship. She is potty trained, though accidents do happen when she can’t clearly tell where she needs to ‘go’ so it might take a little bit of coahing in her new home. Chichi needs someone to go slowly with her as sudden movement can be scary for a little dog without vision, so a quiet home with adults only would be best.
Please email adopt@rocketdogrescue.org to meet her! (RDS)
