Chopper is a total love bug and just as sweet as sugar! She is very loving with everyone she meets and will melt into your hands for belly rubs. She is inquisitive about everything and will follow you around the house to make sure she isn’t missing out on any fun.
We’re not quite sure what to call her regarding breed(s)…Border Collie, Catahoula; we know she’s unique. Chopper is two years-old and weighs 50 pounds.
Chopper is young so she has great energy-at two years old, she is still a puppy and will need an outlet for her exuberance. She will be happiest with a long hike or daily long walks but also seems content with multiple short(ish) walks throughout the day. She’s fully housetrained and is working on her leash skills. She has no idea how big she is so we’re looking for someone with patience and a training mindset to help her stay on track on walks.
She does love other dogs and is affectionate with her small, senior foster sibling. We haven’t observed her around cats or children yet, but given her love for people, we expect her to be good with dog-savvy kids.
