Meet Cinnamon, a sweet one-year-old, thirty-six pound pittie mix, with a heart as warm as her name suggests! Cinnamon is friendly to all people and dogs, energetically playful with dogs and loving to people. She is super-friendly, outgoing and makes friends wherever she goes, and loves to snuggle.
Cinnamon is very smart and has been able to learn basic commands quickly and, in her foster home, has been working on house-training and leash training and improving as she gains confidence. Cinnamon is crate trained.
Cinnamon is highly trainable! She already knows “sit” and “paw” (aka “shake”) and has learned to focus on her humans and comes when called. She is learning “stay” and “down”, as well as to walk more predictably on a leash, using treats as training lures. Cinnamon would benefit from continued training, mental and enough physical exercise to ensure she will be the very best she can be!
With her brindled coat, and beautiful brown eyes, Cinnamon always gets lots of attention and positive comments from passers-by on the street. She is a very gentle dog, easy to handle, and loves to snuggle on the couch or bed with her humans.
Cinnamon’s gentle disposition makes her an ideal candidate to be a great family dog! She is good with kids and other dogs, needs a moderate amount of daily exercise and, afterwards, is content to hang out at home. Come and meet Cinnamon if you are ready to add a sprinkle of sweetness to your life! Please fill out an application and a volunteer will be in touch! (HD)
