Cookie Dough came to us from the Central Valley of California where she was found running through the streets. We can’t be sure who she thought she was herding… but she’s definitely a working breed and will require a lot of physical activity and mental stimulation. Breed experienced applicants are encouraged to apply because you “get” the whole herding dog mentality. (Wink!)
She is a beautiful, smart, loyal and energetic girl, who we believe is about 1-2 years old; she weighs 45 pounds. She is a dog that will steal your heart and your tennis balls! She’s a fantastic jumper and would be great at agility training.
Cookie Dough is house-trained, and good on the leash. She would be fine in a home with another dog her size and energy level. Cats are not advised (again that herding dog thing!).
Have the energy level for this gal? Please fill out an application and a volunteer will be in contact. Thank you! (KG)
Cookie Dough needs a 2 week foster home on October 1st. Thank you!
