Meet Daisy! Daisy is a 13-pound, long-legged chihuahua mix estimated to be around 2 years old. After raising a litter of puppies (and she did a great job!) Daisy is now ready to find a safe and loving home where she can get the pampering she deserves.
Snuggly and playful once she gets to know you, it’s so worth giving Daisy the time she needs to open up to new people. Because she can be nervous at first, Daisy would prefer a quieter home with only adults or older, dog-savvy kids instead of younger children who may not know how to respect her boundaries. Once you become friends, she makes a great lap dog and has fun zooming around the yard playing chase!
Daisy has experience living with cats, chickens (which she enjoyed herding) as well as other small dogs – though she can find new canine companions intimidating. She would do best with mellower animal friends who understand how to give her time to grow comfortable.
