Dylan is a handsome boy eager to meet his family soon! This husky/shepherd mix (maybe some border collie?) is estimated to be around 18 months old and at 65 pounds, should be fully grown.
Through no fault of his own, Dylan was brought to a shelter in Modesto as a stray. He is a little nervous and can be unsure about loud sounds in the urban Oakland area, so we expect he would be more comfortable in a quieter neighborhood. While he is a bit shy, he is affectionate and interested in spending time with people, is friendly with dogs he has met out on walks. He has not been cat tested.
Dylan is young and he has energy to burn! This pup would like a family with an active lifestyle to take him on adventures. Being your morning running buddy would be his dream. He would also like the chance to go to obedience school so he can show off how smart he is! He needs some work on his leash manners, and with consistency and training should pick it up quickly.
If you would like to meet Dylan, please submit an application and a volunteer will be in touch soon. (KF)
