Affectionate, gentle, 1-year-old husky mix, Eagle, would love to be your new best friend! This 50 lb. cuddly goofball wants nothing more than to just be around his people, tagging along on whatever adventures are happening.
Down for hiking, playing, or just a quiet movie night at home, Eagle is adaptable and just wants to be included in your plans. He bonds quickly to “his people” and is very polite with strangers – human and canine alike. He does best with 1-2 hours of exercise daily, which can be split between multiple walks, a good hike, or playtime in a yard…but Eagle would also be up for more than that if you have a larger adventure planned!
Eagle is a gem of a dog and has been spending his days split between helping Foster Mom work from home, or supervising Foster Dad working in the office. Either way, he pretty much entertains himself (napping, chewing on his toys, etc.) with some short walks thrown in throughout the day.
In just the first week in his foster home, Eagle quickly picked up on potty training, some basic commands like “sit”, and various house rules/boundaries – he’s a smart boy!! Super sweet and a little reserved, he’s done well going to coffee shops, restaurants, friends’ houses, etc.
Eagle has been friendly and polite with the dogs he’s met so far, joining in play when the other pup initiates. We suspect he’d be interested in chasing feline friends, so a cat-free home would be best.
