Once upon a time, there was a lab-cattle dog mix ( for her privacy, we’ll just call her “Lucy”) … Lucy was a stray taken in by a kind woman. Unfortunately Lucy did not go to the vet to get spayed and soon had a litter of puppies… That was about two yrs ago. Lucy’s pups grew up, but didn’t leave home. One day Lucy’s daughter Celie announced that Lucy was going to be a grandma! Not one to be trumped, Lucy had her own announcement… She was having more pups too!!!!
Well, 16 pups later, this kind woman reached out to for help. An amazing network of rescuers responded quickly and the pups are safe with different rescues where they will be spayed and neutered !
ROCKET DOG RESCUE is pleased to have taken in four of the puppies this week.
Each of these pups (10 wks old) are different in looks and personalities. We guesstimate they will be about 35-40 lbs when full grown. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an adoption application (found online at www.rocketdogrescue.org) and a volunteer will contact you (VL/TH)
