Francis is an approximately 8-year-old small breed mix who weighs around 12 lbs. Francis is a super smart boy. When he first went to his foster home, he hated walking on a leash, but with just a little bit of work, he was able to get much more comfortable and now does pretty well on lead. He is treat motivated and easy to train. He is also fully house-trained.
Francis’s foster says he is best described as “shy and sweet, a little quirky and a lot curious.” He’s a mellow guy who is fine going for long walks or hikes but is happiest curled up on your lap or a couch. He’s a little shy when meeting new people, but comes around within about 10 minutes. Francis loves other dogs and would do well with another one in the home. He currently lives with a teenager in his foster home and would probably be good with any respectful kids. He has not been cat-tested, but would likely do just fine with a slow introduction.
