Francis is an approximately 8-year-old small breed mix who weighs around 12 lbs. He came to Rocket Dog and went to foster with his friend Muttley, also pictured, who he has done very well with – they can be adopted either together or separately. (See Muttley Crew’s separate bio.)
Francis is a super smart boy. When he first went to his foster home, he hated walking on a leash, but with just a little bit of work, he was able to get much more comfortable and now does pretty well on lead. He is treat motivated and easy to train. He is also fully house-trained.
Francis has done well with other dogs his size and would likely do well with bigger dogs as well with a proper introduction. He hasn’t been tested with cats. Between Francis and Muttley, Francis is a little more confident. Francis does fine left alone when necessary.
