Gardner is one of our several hounds brought in from a disbanded hunting club. Some may do well as only dogs while others may need dog playmates, but we believe all of them will be great family dogs. Many of them will likely need a little of extra time, love, and patience to adjust to a home environment.
Gardner is about two years old and weighs around 60 lbs. Gardner is a little timid at first but once he warms up he loves being around his people. He generally does well with other dogs and plays well with those who have a similar play style. Though he is timid, he can sometimes play rough so a proper introduction is always best. He is a little insecure and would do well with a well-matched dog companion in his new home. He did not come to us potty trained, leash trained, or crate trained, but has been making steady progress in his foster home.
