Small (10 – 25 lbs) Learn MoreGinger Jack appears to be something close to a rough-coated Jack Russell terrier. He’s probably about 4-5 years old and weighs around 10 pounds. He is fully housebroken. He is extremely well behaved, especially on the leash. When the leash comes out he knows it’s walk time and leaps up, jumping clear of the ground in excitement! He would probably do just as well in a home with a family or an active couple.
He loves his people and especially enjoys belly rubs and snuggles a bit in the evenings. Quite the gentleman, he has never shown interest in human food or eaten anything off the sidewalk. He’s eager to please and respects boundaries once he understands them. He enjoys the company of other small dogs, but is reticent to engage larger dogs. Cats are hit-and-miss: if the cat runs he will chase it, if the cat stands its ground he backs off. It’s possible he’s had a swipe or two of cat claw in his history to know to steer clear. He could probably benfit from a bit of training in his new home.
