Honey is a delightful little dog! She’s a wee thing at six pounds, but she is full of character and could fit in to many different homes. She would probably be fine as an only dog in a household where someone is home most of the time, but she also really enjoys the company of other small dogs. She is chummy with another Chi mix at her foster home. She is house and pee-pad trained and loves to go on walks in the neighborhood on her leash. She gets very excited when her harness comes out! In over-all good health, she does have a little bit of a sensitive tummy and is a bit of a picky eater, so it’s best to be consistent with her diet and treats.
Honey takes a minute to warm up to new people, but once she does, she is affectionate, silly, and a real cuddle bug. She has not been around cats, but she is so chill she would probably be fine with a slow introduction to a dog-savvy one. Because of her size, older, respectful children would be best-suited for this little lady. We estimate her age at 12 years young.
