Introducing Jackie! This beauty is an approximately 3 year-old, 60-pound Boxer mix who is an incredible girl looking for an equally incredible family to call her own.
Jackie is a playful, sweet, loving girl who loves walks, playing tug a rope and snuggling. She would be a great family dog for a first time dog family, a family with kids or as a second dog in the home. She is an easy-going gal who just wants to spend time with her humans. She would do best in a home without cats as she loves the chase a bit too much for some feline friends. (Cats are not necessarily a deal-breaker as long as the cat is confident, dog-savvy, and knows how to handle himself.)
Jackie has a leg that was broke at some point in her life and healed on its own causing her to limp. She favors her leg but it does not stop her from living her best life. She is house-broken, walks well on leash, has fantastic house manners and gets along with everyone she meets. Being part boxer she does have needs that need to met to keep her boredom from getting the best of her. Her ideal home will be a moderately active one where she will get daily physical and mental stimulation and lots of snuggle time with her humans.
Jackie is great with dogs, but is strong and playful. Jackie’s foster states she is “totally great with kids”. Because of her leg we are saying it would best for Jackie to be in home with older and dog-savvy kids as super-young kids may jump on her.
Again, active homes are encouraged to apply.
