Joey is an approximately 5-year-old small breed mix. He is a very special little tripod who weighs around 16 lbs. Joey is super sweet and bonds very closely with his people. Despite having three legs, Joey gets around just fine and has learned to navigate up and down stairs without issue. He is house trained and sleeps well in his crate overnight. Joey does not currently live with any other dogs, but has done well meeting dogs on walks and spent a few nights with other small dogs, so he’d likely do just fine with another dog in the home with a proper introduction. Joey is not a fan of cats, so a cat-free home is a must. Joey has a medium-energy level and does well with a few walks a day. He loves playing with all kinds of toys, especially rope toys.
Joey develops a strong bond with his people and can be protective of them – because of this, he needs a home without small children. If you’re interested in learning more about Joey, please fill out a foster or adoption application and a volunteer will be in touch. (GS)
