Are you husky saavy? Interested in training a young boy who is very smart and eager? Committed to exercising him on daily basis? Kingston might just be your ideal candidate!
Kingston (60 pounds) is still a juvenile at 1-2 years old and plays ball like a cat. He knows sit and down already but is ready to expand his skill set! He’ll need regular exercise and might be a good jogging partner as well as a fantastic hiking buddy. His ideal home is one that knows the breed, with owners who are smarter than he is and willing and able to give him daily exercise – this boy is not a couch potato! Older, dog-savvy children (over 12 yo) might be OK but no cats or bunnies for this boy.
Kingston is a very sweet, playful and energetic young guy but he can get nippy/mouthy when overly aroused. He is in need of a dog savvy, confident owner who is not afraid of working on his mouthy/nippy behavior and will guide him to the best dog he can be. Kingston needs a home with an experienced handler where he can be the only dog, he has been reactive towards other dogs in the shelter environment and is lacking in dog social skills. Training and proper dog socialization should be a part of his new life.

With those piercing blue eyes and husky smile, he’s hoping to charm someone quickly. If interested, please complete and adoption application and a volunteer will get back to you! (MC)
