Say hello to Koda! This affectionate 3 month old Malinois/Shepard mix is going to warm your heart with hiswarm and loving personality. Koda is still a puppy and likes 20 minutes of play, followed by 20 minutes sleep on repeat. He is happy to snuggle by your side on the couch, or snooze alone in another room quietly on his own. Koda sleeps through the night in his crate and doesn’t bother waking you, but is excited to start the day when you get up! He is very affectionate, giving kisses and pressing his head into your leg for scratches behind the ear.
Even at this young age, Koda is able to wait until he is let out to go potty and is very intelligent and easily trained. He will follow you around the house and is wonderful on a leash, walking at your pace and stopping when you stop. He is indifferent to other people and dogs, since his owners are his main focus. Koda does well with a playmate pup and is very gentle with smaller dogs. He is also good with cats, expressing interest to play, so cats who set boundaries, or want to play, would be best.
Koda would do best in a household that can offer him plenty of play time to expend his puppy energy and will continue his leash training. Puppies can not be left alone for long periods of time, so their new family needs to have at least one family member home the majority of that day. He is currently about 30 pounds and we estimate his final weight to be approximately 65-75 pounds. (TS)
