Looking for adventure? Look no further – Kramer is your guy! At only a year old, he loves to play, and play, and play! Long hikes, running, splashing in water, wrestling with his mates, all make him a very happy dude. He is the life of the party when he’s with other dogs; very friendly and (as stated before) playful! He is also a sweetheart; generous with his affection and hasn’t met a person he doesn’t like. He is good with kids and also seems okay with cats (although should be watched as his puppiness can be a bit enthusiastic at times.)
Kramer is about 60 lbs and appears to be some sort of shepherd/husky mix. He is very smart and a quick learner and responds quickly to training. He would definitely benefit from additional training to help learn how to respect boundaries of both people and other dogs. It can sometimes be difficult for him to contain his excitement! Exercise is key with this active dog.
Because he loves love, he is struggling a little with separation anxiety – a pretty normal behavior for puppies, and particularly recues. There are successful training methods that can help, and often a dog just needs a home to know that he is safe and secure.
Kramer is the fun-loving, adventure buddy you’ve been searching for. Please fill out an application to foster or adopt this wonderful boy! (DZ)
