This amazing girl came to us all the way from Bali. She got run over as a tiny puppy and it severed her spine. She made it on her own until a wonderful woman named Zoe saved her! Zoe then somehow connected with a volunteer of ours and raised the money to get her over here! She has been through so much but it hasn’t stopped her from moving on and living her best life! Lilou is currently in a temporary foster and is looking for her forever home! Here is what her foster mom says:
“Lilou is a really sweet and fun and chill doggy. She loves to sleep in, snuggle, play fetch and hide and seek. She does well as the only doggy in the house (just as long as she has humans to play with) and also does well with other animals (cats and dogs). She love love loooves children! She loves her independence sometimes and other times she wants to do everything you’re doin’ – some serious FOMO (fear of missing out). She requires a grassy fenced in yard so she can play and be free of the diaper. She comes with reusable diapers, a fancy jogger stroller, wheels, and a lot of love!”
Lilou does have to wear a diaper, but is able to “hold it” through the night. Not having use of her back legs has not slowed this cutie one bit-she plays fetch and running around (that’s why we need an adopter to have a grass yard so it’s softer on her legs). And you should see her in her stroller…she loves riding in it!
Lilou is about 2 years old and weighs 15 pounds.
Interested in meeting her? Please fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you. (DA)
Lilou would love a foster while she is awaiting her forever home.
