Lucky is a year old Border Collie who weighs 55 lb. If you’re looking for a fun, active, and super smart dog, Lucky is your guy. Lucky is very friendly and loves everyone he meets. He’s wonderful with children and great with other dogs too- very playful with larger young dogs, but respectful of small or older dogs. He absolutely adores his foster’s dog, so we know he would love another playful dog in his forever home.
Lucky already knows a few basic commands, walks well on leash, and is house trained. He has done great in his foster home, and has blossomed into a confident, outgoing, dog.
We would love to find an active and breed experienced home for Lucky. These dogs not only need exercise, but they are also the type that want to wake up with the NYTimes Crossword puzzle and that is what makes them incredible for bc lovers. What that means is that we want his family to understand the needs of a younger, highly intelligent and active border collie. This guy would be incredible in agility.
He is an exemplary example of his breed, with a beautifully balanced temperament. He just needs a family to adventure and learn with!
