Who is this gal? Let’s let Dana tell you in her own words:
“My name is Mama Dana. I am an approximately 2 year old, 65-70 lb mama who was found as a stray up north with my litter of newly born pups.
I am safe and ready for my new life ahead! I’m unable to tell the humans, but they think I’ve been out on my own for a while; however, I’ve been the sweetest and caring mama ever and gave it my all to make sure my babies were strong, healthy and safe.
Now that most of my babies have found homes, it’s my turn to find my perfect family. (See separate bio if you are interested in my pups-separately!)
Ideally, my family would be an active family with no small children because I need your undivided attention. I want to be with you as much as possible because I haven’t had a home before and being with humans is my number one goal.
I also would love a family who is 100% dedicated to training and continuing working on my socialization skills. I am VERY SMART. According to the recent DNA test I had, I am a Belgian Malinois. Breed-experienced folks are encouraged to apply.
I love being around people and ideally be with an active family who likes to have a shadow. Maybe you work from home? Or maybe you can bring me with you? I will acclimate to everyday things, but I need patience and time.
Are you ready for a sweet, loving and very grateful mama who would love a family to call her own? If you are active, looking for a shadow, maybe even interested in doing agility work, I would love to be your girl.
Also, no cats for me. Properly introduced dogs should be fine as I haven’t had a problem thus far. Let’s meet to see if we’re a match!”
Please read up on the Belgian Malinois breed as I will be placed only in a home who is willing to do the research and understand the needs of this breed and are willing to train, socialize, and keep me both mentally and physically active throughout my life.
Please submit an application with breed research notes and a volunteer will get back to you. (BS/MC)
