Looking for the perfect companion? Look no further than Marley, a 6-year-old terrier mix who fits the bill!
At about 17 lbs., this little dude is sweet, mellow, and an all-around happy go lucky guy.
A typical day for Marley consists of a short morning walk, then it is off to work with his hooman for a “ruff day” in the office, some lounging, dinner, then beddy-bye time. Marley is house-trained and takes potty breaks throughout the day, as needed.
He is on the lower spectrum of energy level, and we think he would be well-suited for a quiet environment, perhaps with retired individual(s). He has not been cat or child tested. We think he would thrive as the only dog in the household.
He loves to grab a chew toy when he’s excited, though generally he has mixed interest in toys.
Marley seems most at ease when he is around his person. When meeting new people and dogs, he is a little reserved at first but before long, the tail is wagging, and he warms up quickly.
Marley is currently working on his leash skills and will benefit from continued training. There has been some resource guarding of his caregiver, but it seems to be improving and his training continues. He is not a fan of the crate but does well with free roam of one room.
He loves to dig around in the blankets until he’s satisfied with his bedding arrangement (who doesn’t?). When he is not nuzzled in bed, he loves to stick close by his person’s side – a true and loyal companion.
