Mickey is a bouncy, silly Coon Hound mix puppy. This fun-loving boy is 7 months old and can’t wait to be in his forever home. Mickey loves to play with toys and is friendly with other dogs. He’s snuggly and sweet and looking for a home that will have some patience with his normal puppy tendencies and can work with him on training as he grows into a big beautiful dog. Dog-savvy, older children may be better suited for Mickey. Like all puppies, he wants your undivided attention and can be quite energetic. (Our best guess estimate at maturity is 50-60 pounds, but no guarantees.)
Updated report from his wonderful foster: Mickey is potty trained and working on crate training. He’s a smart pup and is also learning a few basic commands. Once he’s had adequate exercise, he is very mellow and affectionate.
Please be home every 2-3 hours during this important bonding, training, and socialization time. Mickey will need lots of all three (plus daily exercise!) to be the best adult he can be. Puppies are a full-time commitment.
