This 1 1/2 year old husky mix will not be “reiny-ing” on your parade. In fact, she’ll be the star attraction! Reiny is a beautiful, bouncing bundle of joy. While this 40 lb beauty has a ton of energy and loves to play and run, once she’s tuckered out she loves a snuggle. Those are the times you get to gaze into those star catching eyes…
Reiny would do best with a yard and possibly another high energy dog to play with (she plays well with others!). She would also love to run and hike with you. She has not been cat tested. Her exuberance might be a bit much for smaller children, but older dog-savvy kids should be fine.
One of our volunteers took Reiny on a hike and reported this: “She was excellent on leash, friendly with everyone she met, and got to be a lap dog for the car ride. They said out of the Sanctuary she calmed right down and was a wonderful trail buddy. Got excited about seeing other dogs but in a very friendly way, and wasn’t tough to keep her in check. And super photogenic!!”
As with most huskies, she will need a secure space (high fence) with experienced and aware owners.
