Ricky came to us with his sister Lucy at around 10 weeks old. They were diamonds in the rough so we sent them to an awesome foster to socialize them and get to know them better. It’s two weeks later (putting the pups at 12 weeks old) and it turns out they are pretty great dogs! The foster says they are very much alike. (They are to be adopted separately.)
Ricky and Lucy are playful and sweet. They relax nicely in their enclosure after getting some exercise and they sleep through the night!
Their foster has his own dog and lots of people come and go in their environment. Lucy and Ricky are doing well with all the activity. They are getting along well with people and the resident dog.
We know you’re waiting for us to tell you their breed… it’s still anybody’s guess, but, we are thinking they have some Border Collie and pit bull in them. What we can safely say, is that they will be big dogs (they weigh about 25 lbs currently) and they’re are definitely darn adorable!
Please be mindful that puppies need lots of training and exercise to be their best selves. If you can’t be home every few hours during this puppy bonding time, please consider adopting an older dog.
If you can imagine Ricky or Lucy fitting into your home, please fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you as soon as possible. (MM)
