Rosie is a shy but sweet 7-year old huskie mix. She’s beautiful, with one brown eye, one blue eye and a coat that’s a mix of black, tan and white. Rosie has lived with the same family since she was 2 months old and has grown from a wonderfully frisky puppy to a calmer, friendly adult. For much of her life she’s lived in a 2-dog family, so she’s generally good with other dogs.
Rosie loves going for walks (on leash) or to fenced dog parks. Off leash at the park, she’ll often chase a ball or run short sprints with other dogs. When she’s back at home, she has a few favorite spots — her dog bed or a chair that been her’s since she was a puppy and which gives her a view out the front window so she can take in what’s going on. She also enjoys being outside in the backyard, sniffing, investigating or taking a nap.
Rosie’s house-broken, in good health, is spayed, completely up-to-date on all her shots and weighs about 65 pounds. She’s not aggressive about food and she’s very friendly with adults and older (8 years old and up) children, but she can get confused by little children so she’d be best in a home without little ones.
