Meet Rudolph! This gorgeous 2 year-old (we think he’s a Korean Village Dog, but who knows) lived his entire life chained in a junk lot in Korea. When winter hit-the snow can be absolutely brutal in Korea-the owner of the lot decided to sell Rudolph to the neighborhood meat market, but rescuers jumped in and a last-minute miracle got him to the Bay Area. Since arriving at the Rocket Dog Sanctuary, Rudolph has been quiet, kind, gentle, and learning how to be brave. He is very wary of being leashed (understandably, after living his life on a short chain ) so he’ll need somebody with patience to work with him a little bit every day and get him used to leashes and manners and those sorts of things we Americans expect from our dog friends.
For now, while he works through his insecurities, he’s best as the only dog.
What will you get in exchange for offering Rudolph your home? Welp, you’ll gain a gentle friend. Your heart will legit rejoice in those tiny moments of pure sparkly magic when he looks at you with his eyes bright and knowing in his heart that you and he are for each other.
And not to mention that his shiny thick snowy white fur will look amazing in your insta feed.😜
When we asked Rudolph what he had to say he simply gave us this:
“물고기 좀 줘 제발 날 체인질 하지 마. 내 심장을 봐 조금만 기다려 주십시오. 나는 당신으로부터의 사랑만을 “
