Sage is an adorable one-year-old cattle dog. She is very friendly, affectionate, cuddly, loyal, and surprisingly pretty mellow. Her foster works from home and says that “Sage is the perfect companion for my work from home routine.” She is happy with a morning walk, and then likes to lay by her foster’s side as she works throughout the day, with a short walk or two throughout the afternoon. Two to three walks for Sage per day is the sweet spot, and she has been loving playing with tennis balls and squeaky toys. Sage is super smart and is currently learning “sit” and “down.”
Sage can be shy at first, but if you give her a moment, she will warm up on her own time and be one of the most loving dogs you’ll meet. Sage is house trained and a great “heel” walker (see video). She is not a fan of loud noises so prefers to walk in quieter neighborhoods. Sage does well quickly meeting other dogs, however can be a bit shy and timid at first.
