Sally is an approximately 3-year-old spaniel mix who weighs about 14 lbs. Sally’s foster says she is best described as sweet, friendly, affectionate, and curious. She has a medium energy level and currently does well with several short walks and one longer walk in a given day. Around 1.5 – 2 hours of exercise per day seems to be the sweet spot for her.
Sally has done well meeting new people and other dogs. She is a little nervous and timid when a new person tries to pet her, but she comes around quickly, especially when treats are involved. She seems to be mostly house trained and does well on a leash. Sally hasn’t been cat or- kid-tested; however, since she is a little head shy and timid with new people, she’d likely do best in a home without small children. Sally doesn’t love her crate and needs some further work if she is going to be crate trained, but she does fine when left alone out of her crate.
Sally’s favorite spot is on her person’s bed, snuggling up to said person. If you’re looking for a sweet dog who loves being right next to you (with an added bonus of a super soft coat), please fill out an adoption application and a volunteer will be in touch. (GS)
