Looking for love? Look no further:
Smiley‘s middle name (or first name) should be Romeo. Once Smiley trusts his people, his favorite past time is to sit on their laps and look dreamily into their eyes. It’s quite the love fest. We’re not sure how he does this, but he manages to sit on your lap before you’re actually sitting on the sofa. He’s about 15 pounds of cuddle.
Smiley is so focused on his humans that he’s really not that interested in other dogs though he behaves well around them and occasionally gives his foster brother kisses. He loves his daily walks, is dreamy on a leash, and he loves to run, he’s a happy go lucky boy. At the same time, once he settles he’s a mellow guy in the house. Smiley is crate trained/potty trained but still needs some work when he’s not in the crate. He comes when called but is still learning basic commands like sit and stay. Smiley can be nervous with new people and children, so he does need an adult home. He’d also do best in a home with other dogs to help him learn some confidence.
