Anatolian Shepherds (known as Kangal Shepherds in Turkey) are best suited with experienced owners as they tend to be independent. Open space (or at least access to open space on a regular basis) is important for these guardian-type dogs. We urge you to research their temperament before you apply to meet this loyal and loving dog.
Sweetie is about two years-old, weighs about 100 pounds, walks well on leash, and is potty-trained (caveat: please give your newly adopted dog time to adjust to your home and schedule). She is not suited for first-time dog owners and will require lots of physical and mental exercise (training) to be the best she can be. Sweetie tends to be dog-selective when first meeting new dogs, so slow and thoughtful introductions are a must.
