Please meet The Pasta Litter. We are a rambunctious, beautiful, athletic, energetic and lovable litter raised in a caring foster home.
We are a litter of 6 pups (4 girls and 2 boys) who are ready for our individual, forever homes who can demonstrate commitment in training, socializing and love for the rest of our lives!
We have been socialized with lots of loving human attention, dogs and kids! We will be going to homes who are truly committed to proper training, socialization and care to make sure we become the best dogs we can be.
Families will be chosen on detail applications who demonstrate by thoughtful answers in the adoption application.
We will be between 50-60 lbs when fully grown. We were told that mom was a Pit Bull and dad was a Cattle Dog mix. Please do research on these 2 breeds to see if this would be the right fit for you and your family in the long term as they will need lots of daily exercise (both physically and mentally). Active people are encouraged to apply.
Before you submit your application for one of our cute, button faces please make sure to do the following:
- Breed Research. Please read up on the needs and personality traits on both the Pit Bull and Cattle Dog breeds.
- Training your puppy: When it comes to any puppy, think about what the dog is being encouraged to do now and ask yourself if this will be wanted behavior when the puppy is bigger and stronger. So while it may be adorable when a tiny puppy jumps up on people for attention, climbs up onto the couch and gnaws on people’s hands, that behavior isn’t so cute when the puppy is adult size, with adult teeth.
- Plan to take basic training classes with your new dog. A class builds the skills for the dog and creates lasting bonds with his or her new family.
- Socializing: Have puppies meet as many nice people and other animals as possible to learn and keep great social skills. Protect them from bad experiences. Fear causes many dogs to become defensive, and defensive behavior is seen as aggression.
Are you ready for a full time job with one of us? Are you committed to cleaning, training and socializing us for the rest of our lives? If you are ready for puppyhood (being home every 2-3 hours), we would love to meet you. Please apply here to meet The Pasta Litter. (BS)
