Hiya!! My name is Tucker, and I am SO EXCITED to meet you! I’m a 3-month-old (born mid-August) chihuahua mix and likely won’t grow to be more than 15-ish lbs., but I have a big personality to make up for my lack of size. Since I’m still pretty young, I take lots of naps during the day and need frequent potty breaks – but in between naps I love running around, exploring, playing with toys (or with other dogs), or getting plenty of snuggle time with my foster family.
My foster family is awesome – they introduced me to a cat (it didn’t want to be my friend), to an older dog (we had so much fun), and I get to play with two human boys that let me lick their faces and cuddle with them. I LOVE my human foster brothers! I also love toys – plush toys with squeaky insides as well as other kinds of chew toys, chasing small balls, and of course I’m always happy playing tug of war with a stick!
While I’m too young to practice going on walks, I’m doing really well with crate training and working on my house-training. My foster mom says I have a good amount of puppy energy, and describes me as “fun, friendly, happy, and outgoing”.
I still have so much to learn about the world – could you be the one to teach me?? Please remember that as a puppy, I’ll need someone patient who is home a lot to make sure I grow up to be the best dog possible! It’ll be a lot of work, but we’ll have SO much fun together!! (EL)
